Overview
The GFF × CIVIC VOICES subgrant is a funding opportunity for civil society organizations (CSOs) and youth-led organizations across Africa. This initiative stems from a partnership between the Global Financing Facility for Women, Children and Adolescents (GFF) and CIVIC: The Civil Society and Social Innovation Alliance. The VOICES consortium—led by PATH in partnership with the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) and the Organisation of African Youth (OAY)—will distribute subgrants to strengthen civil society engagement, coalition-building, and youth leadership around domestic resource mobilization for health and nutrition.
What the Subgrant Supports
VOICES subgrants fund advocacy partnerships that drive sustainable, accountable health investment. Successful applicants will work to:

Eligible Countries
The program operates in up to 22 African countries. While the full country list is not specified in available materials, the initiative targets nations where the GFF is active. Who Can Apply
Two types of organizations are eligible:

- Local civil society organizations (CSOs): Established nonprofits, community-based organizations, and advocacy groups working in health, nutrition, or related social sectors

Organizations must apply as advocacy partnerships, meaning collaboration between multiple entities is encouraged or required. Individual applicants are not eligible.
