Overview
The Indomie Scholarship is a corporate social responsibility initiative by Indomie Nigeria designed to remove financial barriers for students entering tertiary education. Unlike many scholarships that restrict applicants to specific fields or elite institutions, this program welcomes students across all disciplines at public and state-owned universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and specialised institutions.
The scholarship operates on a renewable model: recipients receive full tuition coverage for their entire programme duration, provided they maintain the required academic performance. This structure allows students to focus on their studies rather than worrying about annual fundraising or reapplication.

What the Scholarship Covers
The Indomie Scholarship provides comprehensive financial support:
- Full tuition fees covered for the entire duration of your programme
- Annual renewal automatic upon maintaining required GPA
- No hidden costs — the application itself is completely free
This is not a one-time grant. The renewable nature means students can complete their studies without interruption, whether pursuing a four-year university degree, a polytechnic ND/HND programme, or a college of education NCE certificate.

Eligibility Requirements
The scholarship targets new entrants to tertiary education. You qualify if you meet all of the following:
- Nigerian citizenship
- New admission to a tertiary institution for the 2026/2027 academic session
- Admission to a public or state-owned institution (universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, or specialised institutions)
- Possession of WAEC/NECO and JAMB results (these can be uploaded after initial registration)
- Registration completed before the deadline
Private university students are not eligible. The scholarship specifically supports public and state-owned institutions to maximise access for students from diverse economic backgrounds.
Application Process
The application is designed for accessibility — you do not need all documents ready to begin. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Access the Portal
Visit indomie.ng/indomie-scholarship-program and click “I Am a New Applicant” to start.
Step 2: Enter Personal Information
Provide your name, email, phone number, date of birth, state of origin, and upload a passport photograph. You can take this photograph live using your phone camera — no professional photo required.
Step 3: Upload Academic Results (Optional Initially)
Add your JAMB and O’Level results if available. If not, you may skip this step and log in later to complete it before the deadline.
Step 4: Verify and Submit
Verify your email or phone number, then submit your application. Shortlisted candidates will receive invitations for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and subsequent physical verification.
Important Dates
Application Deadline: October 30, 2026
No late submissions are accepted. The portal includes a countdown timer showing remaining days, hours, minutes, and seconds.
Selection Process
After the deadline closes:
- Applications are reviewed and shortlisted
- Shortlisted candidates receive CBT invitations
- Successful CBT candidates undergo physical verification
- Final selections are made based on combined assessment
The multi-stage process ensures fairness and verifies that applicants meet all stated criteria.
Document Requirements
You will need the following, though not all at initial registration:
- Valid passport photograph (can be taken with phone)
- WAEC and/or NECO results (up to 2 sittings combined)
- JAMB result
- Proof of admission to a public/state-owned institution
- Personal identification details
The system supports combining WAEC and NECO results from different examination sittings, accommodating students who improved their grades through multiple attempts.
Tips for Strong Applications
While the scholarship does not require essays or recommendation letters, attention to detail matters:
- Register early to avoid last-minute technical issues
- Double-check all personal information for accuracy
- Upload clear, legible result documents
- Monitor your email and phone for verification codes and updates
- Complete result uploads well before the deadline
Why This Matters for African Students
For students across Africa, including those in Zimbabwe and the SADC region observing Nigerian scholarship models, the Indomie Scholarship demonstrates how corporate investment in education can operate at scale. The programme’s inclusive design — covering polytechnics and colleges of education alongside universities — recognises that quality technical and vocational education drives economic development. The no-fee application and flexible document submission lower barriers that often exclude talented students from rural or under-resourced backgrounds.
