- School Type: Must be currently enrolled in a public secondary school
- Academic Level: Must be in SS3 (final year of secondary school)
- Academic Performance: Must have credit passes in at least five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in the most recent SS2 third-term examination
- Community Involvement: Must be an active member of an Islamic organisation such as the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), a local mosque, or a recognised non-profit Islamic or Da’wah organisation
- Financial Need: Must demonstrate coming from a low-income family
No language proficiency test is required. The scholarship is not available to students in private secondary schools or those outside the specified states.
