International Student Award

Note for Year 12 students: Applicants with pending final results may still apply by the deadline. However, scholarship offers will only be made to those with unconditional UNSW offers.

Specific Scholarship Requirements

Business School scholarships have additional rules:

  • PUCA1023 requires completion of an approved articulation pathway or UNSW Foundation Studies Commerce/Commerce Actuarial stream
  • PUCA1024 requires completion of Senior Secondary School qualification immediately prior to UNSW with no prior tertiary study
  • PUCA1024 and PUCA1023 cannot be held simultaneously

Engineering Articulation Scholarships require prior study at: Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TI), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), or Thammasat University (TU).

Applicants are assessed holistically on:

  • Academic merit — secondary school or prior university results
  • Leadership skills — demonstrated in school, workplace, or community settings
  • Extra-curricular activities — sporting, cultural, volunteer, or work experience
  • Motivation for studying at UNSW — clear, specific reasons in your application
