What Is the Commonwealth Scholarship?

Nominating Body Requirement

Application Procedure: Step by Step
Successful applications require coordination across three separate processes:
- Secure a PhD offer from Loughborough University. Identify a supervisor, develop your research proposal, and obtain formal admission to a postgraduate research programme.
- Apply through your national nominating body. Each country has designated nominating bodies—typically government ministries, national universities, or professional associations. Confirm their specific requirements and deadlines.
- Submit your CSC application via CSCCentral. The CSC only accepts applications through its online system. No paper or email submissions are permitted.
All three steps must be completed. A university offer alone does not constitute a scholarship application.
